  • Understanding DMEPOS Document Updates

Periodically the PRS DAPP Program will update itself with new and modified documents providing you with the most current policy and procedure manual. When an update occurs the following happens:

    1. The PRS DAPP Program will download the latest version of your DMEPOS Accreditation documents.

    2. The program will store your documents in a backup folder allowing to access any previous work you may have done on documents that were updated.

    3. Your program will now contain the new documents and any new user interventions will appear in the user intervention list.

To view your documents that have been overwritten during an update do the following:

    1. From the Updates menu, choose the menu item "View Backup Files..."

    2. An explorer window will open showing you the list of files that have been backed up.

To bring over any work you did that is not showing in the current program do the following:

    1. From the Updates menu, choose the menu item "View Backup Files..."

    2. Open the document in the BACKUP folder.

    3. Open the document from the table of contents in the PRS DAPP Program.

    4. Copy and paste the information from the document in the BACKUP folder to the document you opened via the table of contents.

    5. Save your work.
